All operational communications — schedules, substitution requests, studio closures, and reminders — are delivered via email and Slack. Opting in to SMS mirrors those notifications to your mobile phone as a convenience. Enrollment is not a condition of employment, compensation, or scheduling; staff who do not opt in continue to receive every notification through email and Slack.
All of this is already sent via email and Slack. SMS just mirrors it to your phone.
Twirling Princess conducts all operational communications (schedules, substitution requests, studio closures, timesheet and certification reminders, and every other work-related matter) through email and Slack. Those are the channels of record.
This SMS program is supplemental only. Every SMS message duplicates a notice that has already been sent through email and/or Slack — nothing is delivered exclusively by SMS.
SMS enrollment is entirely optional and is not a condition of employment, hiring, continued employment, scheduling priority, pay, or any service from Twirling Princess. Staff who do not opt in, and staff who later opt out, continue to receive every operational notice via email and Slack with no change to their employment, pay, hours, or scheduling.
